Boozy tea for everyone's favorite short king. "Give up on your dreams and die."

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz bourbon

  • 1 tsp apricot pepper jelly (apricot preserves or orange preserves would work too)

  • 1 dash orange bitters

  • earl grey tea

Tools & Supplies

  • Teacup

  • Shot glass

  • Pyrex measuring cup (or whatever separate glass you want to use to steep your tea in)

  • Jigger

  • Teaspoon or other small spoon

Preparation

STEP 1


Make earl grey tea, set aside to steep.


STEP 2


In the bottom of your teacup, add apricot pepper jelly, orange bitters, and 1 oz of bourbon. Stir to incorporate. Pour the other .5 oz of bourbon into a shot glass.


STEP 3


Top with the earl grey tea, then stir again.


STEP 4


"Give up on your dreams and die." Pour the shot into the tea.
